Uno Fest is North America’s longest-running theatre festival dedicated to solo performers. Created by [Intrepid Theatre](http://intrepidtheatre.wordpress.com/), producers of the Victoria Fringe Festival, Uno Fest is similarly dedicated to “the finest alternative comedy, drama, physical theatre and performance art”. Crammed with bold (most of the figures seem to gaze directly at the viewer) and quirky details, [Matt Salik](http://www.mattsalik.com)’s poster evokes this eccentric atmosphere perfectly. Summarizing his approach, Salik says, “I guess I wanted to get away with as much as I could without the client flat-out rejecting it” – I think a lot of designers could say the same thing, but it helps to have a playful client.
