The Arbour
George Brown College is poised to transform Toronto’s skyline and push the envelope when it comes to sustainability with the construction of a 10-storey mass-timber building called The Arbour at our [Waterfront Campus](https://www.georgebrown.ca/campuses/waterfront/).
The Arbour will provide exciting learning spaces for our students, a home for a mass-timber research hub and vital community space for the surrounding neighbourhood. It will be Ontario’s first mass-timber, low-carbon institutional building.
We’re aiming for net-zero carbon emissions with The Arbour’s environmentally friendly design, created by Moriyama and Teshima Architects and Acton Ostry Architects. Not long after the design was unveiled in spring 2018, the project design began winning awards.
