RecycleMe.org street poster campaign
[RecycleMe.org](http://www.recycleme.org/) was launched in April of 2009 by Trillium Gift of Life Network (TGLN) to promote awareness of organ and tissue donation. TGLN is a not-for-profit agency of the Ontario government focused on organ and tissue donation and making improvements to the system in order to save more lives. TGLN subsequently launched a tour of Ontario College and University campuses to target youth awareness of the issue in September. They worked with a youth panel for the 6 months leading up to the tour to ensure their campaign was properly communicated to the targeted audience.
Though I am no longer considered of the youth demographic, the Church Street strip around Ryerson was on my walking route home from work, and these street posters made me stop and pause. Though a bit rough around the edges, a closer look revealed a very well thought out plea and campaign. Further, I applaud the appeal to eco-minded pop culture in that organ and tissue donation is the ultimate form of recycling. I am not sure who is responsible for the design of these specific posters (can anyone fill in the blank?) but this seems to me to be a very smart project. Well done TGLN, you really did your homework!
