Some say resort wear is strictly for the Christmas/New Years holiday season for vacationing in places like Saint Bart’s or Jamaica. However resort wear can be worn all year round, you just have to know how to mix and match. And of course Summer is the perfect time of year to rock resort wear as well. Founded in 1961, Ports was originally a Canadian silk importer that eventually evolved into a women’s wear and men’s wear label. After many years of international expansion which included conquering the Asian market, moving the design office to Italy and two different re-brandings, Ports 1961 is now a fashion staple across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The resort 2015 collection is a crisp and slightly edgy take on resort wear. The collection is filled with feathered pieces, dresses with sheer detailing, clean pant suits, asymmetrical dresses, and more.
