Each necklace is made from laser cut neoprene, elevating this mundane industrial material into a new sophisticated look and feel, and outside of how we see this material usually applied. Jewelery making has been eternally linked to punching metal and polishing stone, but Yung’s innovative techniques and willingness to experiment is outstanding and a genuine design lesson to us all. Do the research, and push the boundaries of what our professions can be.
