Furni Meets Big Chief Paper Pop Up

With craft and maker culture at an all time high, more and more designers are turning towards the internet as a way to distribute design blue prints for products that end-users then download and construct themselves. As a part of their recently launched fall 2007 collection, Montreal’s [Furni](http://www.furnicreations.com/) ([whom we recently covered](http://canadiandesignresource.ca/?p=2086)) teamed up with Milan-based studio [Big Chief](http://think.bigchief.it/) to create the [Furni Meets Big Chief](http://think.bigchief.it/small-collection) downloadable toy. Dressed in typical Canadian winter gear, [Furni’s Big Chief](http://think.bigchief.it/small-collection) is a swarthy, mustachioed, hipster-lumberjack type, with a too cool for you brow-raise under his be-pinned tartan trucker cap. Simply download and print; then cut, paste and fold. [Get yours soon](http://think.bigchief.it/small-collection), as it’s a “limited” run.
