The Duoplane shelf was one of the best-selling items designed by Edmonton’s Pure Design Studio, founded in 1994 by three industrial designers, Daniel Hlus, Geoff Lilge, and Randy McCoy. The PURE design collection has a number of contemporary designs still in production, now manufactured by OFFI in the U.S..
