Its simple lines recall antiquity and the resinous wooden torchs in Greece. Fueled by super-activated olive oil (olive oil, nitropropane, and heptane contained in a hydrophollic cotton cartridge) the torches’ fuel was perfected with the assistance of the Department of Chemistry at the L’École Polytechnique de Montréal. -Greg Ball
